who we are and what we do.
project cosign is a voter empowerment platform dedicated to increasing representation and civic engagement. We amplify underrepresented voices by elevating endorsements from Black, Native, and Latino communities, making it easier for voters to identify candidates who reflect their values and priorities. By streamlining access to trusted endorsements, we help voters navigate elections with clarity and confidence.
Launched in August 2024 by Emily Williams, Founder and CEO, in Seattle, Washington, project cosign was created to address a critical need for accessible, community-driven election resources. Rather than sifting through multiple guides dominated by traditional political organizations, voters can now turn to a platform that highlights endorsements from voices within their own communities. Our goal is to demystify the political process, ensuring that voters—especially those from historically excluded backgrounds—feel represented, informed, and empowered to participate fully in democracy.
